
How it Works.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
We begin with a scheduled call to review the details of your vehicle, including year, model, mileage, service history, and overall condition. During this consultation, we determine whether a private sale or an auction is best suited to your car. In most cases, I recommend auction for maximum market reach. We also discuss whether to proceed with a reserve or no-reserve listing.
Step 2: Reserve Setting & Submission
I work with you to establish an appropriate reserve price based on market data and your expectations. I then prepare and submit the necessary details to Bring a Trailer to ensure the listing is positioned for acceptance with a favorable reserve.
Step 3: On-Site Visit & Media Collection
At a scheduled time, I come to your location to complete the media and documentation process. This includes:
Capturing 250+ professional photographs.
Producing detailed video content (walkaround, driving, cold start, etc.).
Reviewing and verifying your paperwork, including title, service records, and registration, to confirm accuracy and completeness.
Step 4: Listing Creation
After the media session, I prepare the complete listing on Bring a Trailer. This involves editing all photos, crafting a detailed and compelling written description, and presenting the car’s history and highlights in a way that maximizes buyer interest.
Step 5: Auction Management
Once the listing is live, I manage the auction on your behalf. This includes:
Responding to bidder questions and comments.
Providing accurate, professional answers without requiring your direct involvement.
Monitoring auction activity and keeping you updated throughout the process.
Step 6: Sale & Payment Facilitation
When the vehicle sells, I oversee the secure transfer of funds between you and the buyer. I make sure the transaction is smooth, transparent, and worry-free.
Step 7: Final Delivery
I coordinate all communication with the buyer, including transportation logistics and final delivery. This ensures a seamless transition while you remain entirely hands-off.
